Description

Newly created role for a motivated Senior Advisor to lead high-impact campaigns, shape strategy and lead a team, delivering standout results for inspired clients.

The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Manager/Associate Director to lead high-impact public affairs, corporate reputation and strategic engagement projects. This role is a unique opportunity to shape political and public reputation and deliver winning strategies for high-profile campaigns. You will work directly with senior stakeholders, including top politicians, chiefs of staff and board members of major organisations.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform complex enterprise and political challenges into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based strategies to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Manage projects that enhance organisational performance and mitigate risks.
  • Leverage deep expertise in government policy, polling and public affairs, with a robust understanding of Federal and State government dynamics.
  • Take a hands-on approach to strategic campaign execution, not merely delegating tasks.
  • Coach and mentor a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and meeting deadlines.

About You
You have a strong strategic mindset, turning complex challenges into impactful campaigns. Your leadership drives innovation, excellence and results within your team.

Qualifications:

  • At least six years of relevant experience in advisory within Australia with leading advisory firm and/or think tank.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities, with a track record of turning complex briefs into solid, actionable campaign strategies
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to articulate ideas effectively to senior stakeholders. Impeccable orthography and proofreading skills are vital to success in this role
  • A public relations expert with experience in developing and executing campaigns and strong connections within politics, policy and business
  • Proven leadership experience in nurturing and coaching a team, with examples of how your leadership has enhanced the work and impact of the campaigns you’ve led.

Please note that you must have permanent residency/citizenship for Australia to be considered for this role.

We look forward to hearing from you.
