Aptitude Recruitment is a boutique Sydney-based recruitment agency specialising in data, analytics and research placements. We work closely with our clients and candidates to build lasting placements across a range of specialist markets.

The Role
We are looking for a Recruiter to join our team supporting frontline recruitment within Australia. This is a hands-on 360-style role covering the full recruitment cycle from sourcing through to candidate placement. We welcome applications from strong junior candidates keen to grow, as well as those with more established frontline experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage outbound calling to build candidate and client pipelines
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards and other channels
  • Screen and shortlist candidates against role requirements
  • Provide candidate care throughout the recruitment process
  • Coach candidates and support interview preparation
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records in the CRM
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for repeat and future roles
  • Provide regular pipeline updates and reporting to the team
  • Opportunity to progress toward client management and running your own desk as you build capability

About You
You are a proactive and resilient recruiter who thrives on building relationships and delivering results. You are comfortable picking up the phone, confident managing multiple roles at once and genuinely enjoy supporting candidates through their job search.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years total recruitment experience, with at least 1 year in a frontline or 360 recruitment roles
  • Experience recruiting in Australia, NZ, UK and/or US
  • Confident and comfortable with phone calls and video meetings as the primary contact method for candidates
  • Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn and other platforms
  • LinkedIn Recruiter/Recruiter Lite experience preferred but not essential
  • CRM experience such as Bullhorn or JobAdder is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent candidate care and relationship management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • Junior candidates with strong potential and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
