The Role
This is a great opportunity for a qualitative researcher ready to take ownership of project delivery. Reporting to a senior Qualitative Director, you will manage the end-to-end execution of large-scale qualitative research projects from planning and field coordination through to reporting and client delivery.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Managing and coordinating multiple qualitative research projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
Liaising with field suppliers, recruiters and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
Developing qualitative research materials including discussion guides, screeners and research frameworks
Supporting or conducting moderation across online and face-to-face interviews and focus groups
Monitoring project progress and troubleshooting issues as they arise
Preparing reports, presentations and client-ready deliverables
Managing project timelines, budgets and administration requirements
About You
You are an organised and detail-oriented professional with a foundation in qualitative research and project coordination. You communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced environment where your work contributes to real social impact.
You will bring:
1 to 3 years’ experience in a qualitative research, market research or insights environment
Demonstrated ability to manage or coordinate multiple projects within tight timelines
Experience designing qualitative research instruments such as discussion guides and screeners
Exposure to moderation across focus groups and/or in-depth interviews (highly regarded)
Strong project management and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
A genuine interest in research that contributes to meaningful social and community outcomes
Melbourne-based candidates only. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 to 3 days per week in the CBD office
