The Company
Our client is a global leader in innovation and consumer products, known for their rapid growth, high-performance culture, and deep focus on customer needs. As they continue expanding across APAC, they are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Insights to lead the insight's function. 

This role will influence key business decisions across product development, marketing, and go-to-market strategies, ensuring that consumer feedback is embedded into every step of the journey. 

The Role 

This is a senior-level role responsible for setting the consumer insights agenda and delivering impactful research that supports innovation, product success, and commercial growth. You'll report to the regional leadership and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to represent the voice of the customer across the business. 

What you’ll do 

  • Lead and implement annual research plans aligned with business goals 
  • Design and execute both qualitative and quantitative research studies 
  • Build screeners, surveys and guides to gather meaningful insights 
  • Analyse market data and customer behaviour to identify trends and opportunities 
  • Produce clear, actionable recommendations to inform strategy and product roadmaps 
  • Coach and develop junior researchers within the team 
  • Manage agency relationships and optimise research budgets 
  • Integrate in-market sales and POS data into feedback loops for continuous improvement 

Knowledge and Experience 

  • Strong experience in market or consumer insights, with both agency and client-side exposure 
  • Deep knowledge of qual and quant research methodologies 
  • Experience shaping product, brand, or customer strategy through insights 
  • Excellent analytical, reporting and storytelling skills 
  • Ability to lead and mentor a research team 
  • Commercial mindset with experience influencing senior stakeholders 
  • Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Marketing or a related field preferred
