This research agency is seeking a Quant Researcher to assist with the continuing overflow of work that they have. The assignment will average about 20 hours a week and will continue for the foreseeable future.
  
The main support you will provide will be through data analysis and report writing though you may be called upon to assist with any part of the project lifecycle. This role can be done entirely remotely, although being available for face-to-face briefing in Melbourne would be advantageous.
  
The role

• Reviewing and amending data collection instruments
• Interrogating primary data and identifying themes and key take-outs
• Crafting client-ready presentations
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, helping improve technical expertise in the team in the areas of analytics, statistics and modelling

  
Experience & attributes

• 5+ years’ experience in a market, social or government research environment (agency/consulting environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong quantitative research skills including sampling/sample design, questionnaire design, weighting, statistical analysis and reporting
• Experience in using Q (or similar programs) is essential
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and other packages relevant to creating presentations
