The Role
We are seeking a Research Consultant with 1 to 3 years of consulting or research experience to join our client’s Sydney research and advisory team. You will deliver quantitative research projects from survey design through to client recommendations, working across a range of projects. This role suits a confident self-starter who takes ownership of their work and enjoys a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of quantitative research instruments, including sample specifications and survey design
• Build and manage online surveys using industry platforms
• Engage directly with clients to understand their business challenges
• Manage quantitative research projects and analyse survey and observational data
• Analyse and tabulate data using statistical and survey analysis software
• Conduct appropriate statistical modelling
• Deliver clear, concise reports and data visualisations
• Draft and present actionable client recommendations

About You

• Degree in a related discipline
• 1 to 3 years of experience in commercial market research, social research, consulting or a think tank
• Experience running quantitative research projects from client brief to presentation
• Hands-on experience with online survey platforms and data analysis tools
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn findings into clear recommendations
• Interest in policy, social or political issues preferred
